B13 Patch. The B13 Satellite launched on 24 Oct 97. This satellite is similar to the B7 and B9 satellites; it is a multi-year procured satellite with an increased bandwidth payload. This satellite had no HESSAs, only Linear Solid State Amplifiers (LSSAs) in the low power channels. It was launched on an Atlas II with IABS.
