- This slide emphasizes an important message.
- “No one satellite media, by itself, can achieve our critical C4I requirements. For example, if we were to kill SHF for CGs and DDs then those platforms would lose the military controlled assured HDR capabilities that cannot be matched by any other media. Further, we would lose an interoperability path with most of our Allies and some of our joint forces.”
- Point here is that there have been many years of smart work done on this mix by savvy people.
- We need to makes sure that we fully understand all of the ramifications and the impact on the balance of media capabilities before we start to make radical changes.
